FAQs - Web Designing Faq Q. What is the time duration you take for getting designing a website? A. There is no specific time duration. It all depends upon your website’s size, site’s design complexity and above all, our current client design schedule. Apart from this, it also depends upon the depth of your request. In case, you have a deadline in mind we will put in our best to meet your deadline target. To get your work done faster, it is advisable for you to send in your content (text/images) at earliest to process your work faster. Q. Is it necessary to have a meeting to discuss the website design? A. Not necessarily always. Wherein you are staying in a different place, you can communicate your needs via email and telephone. We can send suggested website designs vide E Mail or vide a secure social networking site in a private place where only we both can view the content. This way, we can liaison regularly to discuss the web designs to finally come to a conclusion about the website design and functionality. The other alternatives are we can meet in person either at your place or at our office. Q. What format you suggest for sending in text and photographs about my business for my new website? A. It would be most beneficial to us if you can send in text as well as photographs in electronic form. For Photographs, you need to scan them all to convert into an electronic form and save them in digital extension like JPEG, etc. Likewise, the text can be sent in MS word or similar format. Then you can E Mail them both either in original form or compressed form (zip the files). Q. Will the website designed be Search Engine friendly? A. Yes, every website designed ensuring its search engine friendly. Taking into account the factors that make it search engine friendly, we make all possible steps to ensure that it is tune with those factors. In addition, we also make sure that your website is kept up to date and compliant with new search engine rules etc. Q. Can I move onto another supplier to host the site designed by you? A. Yes, you may. Once your website design has been completed, we send you a copy of the website on a CD for your retention. Q. On completion of my website design, what after sales service do you offer? Q. Do you feel a Database is required for my website? A. It depends primarily upon the amount of information that you wish to be displayed on your website. Wherein you have lots of products/services, then it is worthwhile to have a database incorporated into your website design. If you are interested in one, it can be discussed at our meeting wherein we will analyze your needs and advice you accordingly. Q. Do you guarantee that my site will always be available? A. Yes, we do use Flash and animation depending upon the kind of website design the client wants. It is done to make the site more appealing to attract customers. However, it is recommended to abjure from having Flash on every page of the website as search engines cannot read the content of flash and therefore any words used in animations will not be indexed by the search engines. FLASH is best used for Sites that has small banners, advertisements or demonstrations and which incorporate the flash animation into a web page including some written text in html. This way the search engines will be able to index your information Q. Could you please explain what is directly proportional to the web space? How many pages can I have on my web site? A. A blend of Pages, Graphics, Pictures, Forms, Backend database, Logs, emails, spam filtering software, etc. consume space and they all are directly proportional to the web space. You can have as many pages as you like. The more you have, the better it is from a search engines point of view. Q. How much will a website cost me? A. It depends on the kind of website you want. A website with just a few static pages would cost you less than a full-fledged ecommerce website with a large number of pages and database.
